Why stitch-count pricing is confusing
Many shops sell embroidery digitizing by stitch count. Here is why we use size instead, and how that keeps the price low.
Stitch-count pricing asks you to buy a number you cannot see until the work is done. You send a logo. You wait. You get a bill based on thousands of stitches. That is common. It is also hard to budget.
We charge by the longest side. You can measure a shirt with a ruler. That is the whole method. Cheap embroidery digitizing stays cheap because the rule is public.
When stitch count still matters
On your machine, stitch count affects sew time. A heavy fill takes longer. We still plan a sensible density so a $5.99 file does not become a 40-minute sew for a 3-inch bird. Digitizing quality and price method are different questions.
