Embroidery files for Janome, Singer, and other home machines

Home machines are not all PES. Janome often wants JEF. Some Singer models use DST or their own type. Older machines may want SEW. Our format list includes DST, PES, NGS, DSZ, KSM, SEW, and JEF. Choose up to two.

If your box says “I’m not sure,” put the brand and model in the notes. An embroidery digitizing service should meet the machine you own, not the machine the shop prefers.

Hoop limits

A 4-by-4 hoop is common. Do not order a 7-inch jacket name for that hoop. Measure first. Then use the size boxes. The price follows the inches, so cheap embroidery digitizing only works when the size is real.
