Hat and cap embroidery digitizing
Cap files are not shirt files. How hat embroidery digitizing differs, and how we price a front-of-cap logo.
A cap is curved. The machine sews toward the center of the bill. A file made for a flat polo can look fine on screen and pucker on a hat. Hat embroidery digitizing uses a sew path that works with that curve.
Most cap fronts fit in the 5-to-8-inch price if the design is wide. A small 3-inch mark on the front is often $5.99. Measure the longest side you want on the finished hat.
What to write in the notes
Say “this is for a baseball cap” or “structured hat.” If you know the cap hoop, mention it. Our embroidery digitizing service will build the file for the hat, not copy a shirt version and hope.
